My name is Saturnin Pugnet.

I am originally from France, but my curiosity has led me to countless faraway places since my early years, both physically and intellectually. I enjoy questioning everything and finding patterns; sometimes it leads me nowhere, sometimes it leads me to a 40k-word essay.

I spent my early years working for big tech and building startups. Then, in 2017, I realized that AGI was coming and completely pivoted my life; I moved to California to do some research in AI and Neurotech at Caltech before starting World with Sam Altman. I spent a few intense years building the company while remaining deeply involved in deep tech as an advisor and investor. More recently, I have been building in AI alignment and gearing up to now build something new in Neurotech.
